At Feelings of Scent, we are committed to creating a safe, reliable, and enjoyable marketplace for buying and selling authentic perfumes. These guidelines outline the principles and rules to maintain a high standard of trust and integrity in our community.
1. Authentic Products Only
Feelings of Scent is a marketplace for genuine perfumes.
- Sellers must list authentic branded perfumes only.
- Counterfeit, replica, or fake perfumes are strictly prohibited.
- All listings must pass our barcode authentication process.
Violation Consequences: Counterfeit items will be removed, and the seller's account may be suspended or permanently banned.
2. Accurate Listings
Provide detailed and truthful descriptions of your perfumes:
- Include the brand, fragrance name, bottle size, and condition (new, opened, or partially used).
- Upload high-quality photos showing the bottle, packaging, and barcode.
- Be transparent about any flaws, such as scratches or missing packaging.
Reminder: Accurate listings build trust and help you sell faster.
3. Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed on Feelings of Scent:
- Counterfeit or replica perfumes.
- Perfumes with tampered or missing barcodes.
- Empty bottles or testers not intended for resale.
- Perfumes with less than 30% remaining fragrance unless specified.
Note: Listings violating these rules will be removed, and repeat violations may result in account suspension.
4. Respectful Interactions
Feelings of Scent values respectful communication between buyers and sellers:
- Respond to messages and inquiries promptly and politely.
- Use the platform’s messaging system to communicate—transactions or communication outside the platform are prohibited.
- Report any abusive or inappropriate behavior.
Violation Consequences: Disrespectful or fraudulent behavior may result in account penalties.
5. Secure Transactions
All transactions must be completed through Feelings of Scent:
- Payments are securely processed using Stripe.
- Do not share personal payment or banking details outside the platform.
Reminder: External transactions are not protected by Feelings of Scent policies.
6. Shipping and Packaging
Ensure your perfumes are securely packed and shipped promptly:
- Use the prepaid shipping label provided by Feelings of Scent.
- Package items securely using padding and sturdy boxes to avoid damage during transit.
- Ship items within 3 business days of the sale.
Tip: Proper shipping ensures buyer satisfaction and maintains your seller rating.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
- The item is significantly not as described.
- The item arrives damaged due to shipping.
Important: Returns for buyer’s remorse or used/altered items after delivery are not allowed.
8. Prohibited Behavior
The following activities are prohibited on Feelings of Scent:
- Listing counterfeit or replica items.
- Engaging in fraudulent activity or false claims.
- Communicating or transacting outside the platform.
- Harassing or disrespecting other users.
Consequences: Accounts involved in prohibited activities may be suspended or banned.
9. Dispute Resolution
If issues arise, Feelings of Scent provides a fair resolution process:
- Use the "Report an Issue" button to file a claim.
- Provide supporting evidence such as photos, tracking details, or messages.
- Our support team will mediate disputes and ensure a fair outcome for both parties.

- Buyers and sellers should uphold honesty in all transactions.
